North to Alaska
A little over a month ago, #2 , #5 and I went on a week’s cruise to Alaska. Being that the kids had been doing all of the travelling this summer, #2 and I thought it might be a good idea to jump on the bandwagon . . . . or ship, as it were.
#5 of course, fresh from her jaunt through parts of Europe got to come along for the ride – can’t leave a young ‘un home alone now can you? (Not if you want the house and its contents to still be in one piece when you return)
7 days and nights, 3 ports of call and LOTS of food – a wonderful time was had.
Even managed to hit the local yarn stores in each port and picked up some interesting 'made in Alaska' yarns.
Of course the Regia isn't Alaskan, but it was on sale 50% off, so I couldn't resist.
